  1. In the course of designing, manufacturing, and selling transfer machines, special-purpose machines, grinding machines, machining centers, crankshaft milling machines, wire saws, etc., we process customers' personal data for the following purposes and on the legal basis.

    (3) To comply with our legal obligations
    (4) For our legitimate interests.

  2. We will not disclose or provide customers' personal information to third parties except in the following cases.
    ・When the customer has given prior consent
    ・When required by law

    ・In cases where the handling of personal information is in accordance with the notification or guidance of a government agency.

  3. Komatsu shall comply with the Personal Information Protection Law and other applicable laws and regulations, and shall continuously improve its personal information management system, including this Policy, by educating its employees, appointing a person responsible for information management, and conducting audits. Komatsu Group has established "Komatsu's Code of Conduct" to be followed by all employees, in which Komatsu clarifies the rules to be followed by employees, including the appropriate handling of information, and strives to improve compliance.

  4. Komatsu shall retain your personal information for the period necessary to achieve the purpose for which the information was obtained. However, if the law stipulates otherwise, it will be for the period stipulated by the law.

  5. To protect customers' personal information from unauthorized access, falsification, destruction, leakage, loss, etc., we strive to establish a management system and take appropriate safety measures such as implementing reasonable technical measures.
