[Wafer manufacturing equipment for semiconductors and materials]［MWM］Proposal for servo motor renewal due to end of servo motor production

We are proposing a modification work for servo renewal to J4 servo motor because the servo motor used in wafer manufacturing equipment for semiconductors and materials has been discontinued.

Replacing discontinued models with current models can prevent unexpected equipment stoppages and other problems.

We also propose batch replacement that includes a host controller (PLC) to improve capacity at high speed and with high accuracy.

• Order Acceptance Deadline：Sales of motors prior to renewal are closed.
  Repair support is available until the end of May 2026 (repair may not be possible depending on the nature of the repair).
• Compatibility with alternatives : Basic motor capacity, shaft diameter, and flange mounting dimensions are equivalent, but motor outline and wiring coupling methods are not compatible.
• Construction period : The construction period varies depending on the number of axes involved.
